A bookmarklet is a bookmarked link that, when clicked, adds functionality to your browser. When the scrible
Bookmarklet is clicked, it loads the scrible Toolbar atop the current webpage you're viewing. Adding the scrible
Bookmarklet to your browser is a
breeze. Simply drag it to your browser's bookmarks bar
(see below or watch video for details).
There's no download or installation!
Internet Explorer 7 & 8
- Make sure the "Favorites Bar" is visible. If not,
select View > Toolbars > LinksFavorites Bar.
- Right click on this button:

and select "Add to Favorites...".
- If a "Security Alert" window pops up, click "Yes".
- When the "Add Favorite" window pops up, reveal the "Create in:"
selection list by clicking on the "Create in >>" button if necessary.
- Select the "Links" folder under "Favorites" in the "Create in:"
selection list and then click "OK".
- When the "Add a Favorite" window pops up, select
"LinksFavorites Bar" from
the "Create in:" drop-down list, and then click "Add".
- The Bookmarklet will appear somewhere on your
"Favorites Bar". Move it to the left end of your
"Favorites Bar" so it's always visible and isn't lost
among your bookmarked links.

Firefox
- Make sure the "Bookmarks Toolbar" is visible. If not, select View > Toolbars > Bookmarks Toolbar.

- Make sure the "Bookmarks Bar" is visible. If not, select Tools > Always Show Bookmarks Bar.
- Drag this button: scrible Toolbar scrible Toolbar to the left end of your Bookmarks Barabove.
- After dragging the button, if it lacks a description, right click on the button's icon in the Bookmarks Bar, select "Edit...", and enter "scrible Toolbar" in the Name field.
